AN INTERNATIONAL EUROPEAN PROJECT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION
Based on scientific research and experience, universities and institutions in Austria (A), Czech Republic (CZ), Slovakia (SK), Hungary (HU) and Italy (I) have come to the conclusion that an international course for nature interpretation could be helpful to solve main problems of nature conservation, to protect nature, habitat and wildlife and to apply an international nature conversation legislation.
The course plays a key role in developing the capacities of exchange of experiences in environmental education of the participating countries.
The main goal of the investigation is the interactive combination of nature interpretation, ecology, marketing strategies, project management and advertising tools for one's own marketing to gain a more fundamental understanding of wildlife, nature and habitat conservation and to have proper income as well.
The 3-fact aim of the course is to present a unique adaptable program:
To fulfil local requirements of the participating partners, the course is concepted to be marketable, applicable, problem-solving-orientated, specific within a wide range of topic and contains three modules:
The participants will be chosen to take part in the course from various working backgrounds, of different age groups as well as from different educational backgrounds. The participants are foresters, hunters, farmers, landowners, wildlife-biologists, reservate managers, people working in the tourism section, regional planners and community-workers therapists, using nature for healing processes, artists or anyone who is interested in the course.
Results
The desired results of the course will be people who will be able to work together as "Nature Interpretators and Environmental Educators" within a network amongst the participating countries in different working environments. They will be able to apply nature conservation topics within the market.
